Posted on: 2/27/2013 12:00:00 AM... Coming to a national public radio station near you is “Engineers of the New Millennium”, a radio series developed as a partnership between IEEE Spectrum Radio and the U.S. National Science Foundation. The series focuses on telling stories that emphasize how engineering can help society overcome pressing challenges and enable people to live happier, healthier lives.
So far, the series includes installments on robotics, the global water challenge, and innovations in energy technology. Supplementing the radio series is a website that has been developed to provide more in-depth information on the contributions of engineering and the possibilities of the future imagined by engineering researchers.
